[Comment from Mr. Tsujikawa]
I believe that my main role is to prevent risk from occurring and make recommendations for taking appropriate action to minimize risk even in the unfortunate event of risk occurrence, through monitoring and supervision of management as a member of the monitoring board by utilizing the expertise and experience I have gained as a lawyer. Since taking office as a corporate officer, I have become aware of social contribution activities through emergency restoration projects mainly for dysfunctional railroad bridges because of natural disasters and other factors, once again recognizing the Group’s significance of existence. In order for the Group to continue making social contributions, I will make useful recommendations even on the management front from a third-party perspective to enable long-term sustainable growth.
