Honshu-Shikoku Bridge

Honshu-Shikoku Bridge
Of the 17 long-span bridges spanning straits between the islands of Honshu and Shikoku (not including the Bannosu Viaduct, a long-span truss bridge, as it is an overland bridge), MIYAJI ENGINEERING GROUP has been involved in the construction of 10 (or 11, if the Bannosu Viaduct is included). Of these, we played an important role as the joint venture’s representative company in 9 of the bridges (or 10, if the Bannosu Viaduct is included).
We also played a central role in the construction of the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge, Japan’s largest suspension bridge, and Tatara Bridge, Japan’s largest cable-stayed bridge.
